USAID/Georgia Economic Security Program launches a new initiative, Matching Fund to catalyze economic growth in Georgia. The issue was discussed with the Minister of Economy Natia Turnava.

The Matching Fund is the USAID Economic Security Program’s new initiative, developed together with the Georgian Tourism Administration and the travel platform Steller. Up to 100 small and medium enterprises from different regions of Georgia will be involved in the fund.

Matching Fund will enable micro, small and medium enterprises to increase their business awareness on social networks (Facebook, Instagram) and online advertising platforms (Google ads). Within the involvement in Matching Fund, the companies selected under the initiative will receive exactly the same amount of money allocated to them for their advertising campaigns.
