First Deputy Mayor of Tsalenjikha, Lasha Zarkua, resigns. The reason for the decision is the rural support program, for which Zarkua was responsible.

Due to the late submission of the project to the City Council by the City Hall, the program was in danger of failure.

Later it was restored, but a special commission was set up in the city municipality to determine the cause of the incident.
