The President of Moldova assesses the recommendation of the European Commission to grant the country the status of an EU candidate.

“Strong signal of support for Moldova and our citizens! European Union Commission has recommended granting Moldova the European Union candidate status on the understanding that additional efforts will be taken to advance on reforms already started.

We’re committed to working hard and count on European Union Council’s support”, - tweeted Maia Sandu.
