Masatsugu Asakawa, President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) accompanied by his charming wife, arrived in Tbilisi in order to participate in the 57th Annual Meeting of the ADB.
Ekaterine Guntsadze, Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia welcomed the high-ranking guest at the airport.
Dignitaries discussed issues of bilateral cooperation during a short meeting, along with the importance of holding the Annual Meeting of the ADB in Georgia.
In addition to the official events planned as part of the ADB Annual Meeting, the President of the Asian Development Bank will meet with Georgian officials.
Georgia will host the 57th Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank on May 2-5.
As part of the Annual Meeting, almost 70 events will be held, within which guests of various ranks will have the opportunity to discuss economic development trends and the role of international financial institutions in achieving economic development goals, including the significance of climate change and other global crisis-born challenges.
