At the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Taki Mumladze and Mariam Khundadze won the Best Actress award for their role in Soso Bliadze’s movie.

“The Best Actress Award goes to Taki Mumladze and Mariam Khundadze from Georgia for their stirring portrayal of young women in the film A ROOM OF MY OWN. Taki Mumladze also co-wrote the screenplay”, - tweeted Karlovy Vary IFF.

Mumladze and Khundadze were awarded by Benicio del Toro at the closing ceremony of the film festival in the Czech Republic.
