The trial of Mikheil Saakashvili on the case of illegal border crossing is expected to be held today in a clinic.

The consideration of the case is almost over. Only the interrogation of Saakashvili as an accused is remained.

However, according to the lawyers, the ex-president cannot attend the session due to health deterioration. For this reason, the Prosecution may file a motion to hold the hearing in Vivamedi Clinic.

Today’s trial was also postponed at the request of Mikheil Saakashvili’s lawyer.
