During a working trip to Brussels, Prime Minister of Ukraine held a meeting with the President of the European Parliament. Denys Shmyhal thanked Roberta Metsola for the resolve and leadership in the assistance provided to Ukraine.

“The Ukrainian people appreciate the European Parliament"s solidarity with Ukraine and measures to support our state. We are well aware that Ukraine and Ukrainians are in the focus of attention of the European Parliament”, - said Shmyhal.

With regards to the first plenary session of the European Parliament in the new season, which will take place next week, he expressed his confidence that the European Parliament and other institutions would once again emphasize their unwavering support for Ukraine and would determine victory in the war shamefully unleashed by Russia an unconditional priority.

The parties also discussed military assistance, financial and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
