The Armed Forces of Ukraine cross the Oskil river and took its left bank under control

In Kharkiv region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine crossed the Oskil River, a tributary of the Siversky Donets, taking control of both its banks.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine crossed Oskil. Since yesterday, Ukraine also controls the left bank”, - the Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Telegram, publishing the corresponding video.

At the beginning of September, the Armed Forces of Ukraine started the counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region. On 11 September Oleksii Reznikov, the Minister of Defence, reported that the Defence Forces of Ukraine approached the Oskil river and continued to advance in Kharkiv Oblast.
