Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili attended the decisive Basketball World Cup qualifier between the national teams of Georgia and Iceland.

Today’s match enabled Georgia to qualify for the Basketball World Cup for the first time in history.

After the game, the Prime Minister personally congratulated the basketball players and wished them success at the World Cup.

Together with the Prime Minister, the basketball match was also attended by Chair of the Georgian Dream Party Irakli Kobakhidze and Members of the Government and Parliament.
