Conference on National Action Plan for implementing UN Security Council resolutions is underway in Tbilisi

The UN Women and the Government Administration of Georgia organized a conference on the 2022-2024 Georgian National Action Plan for implementing UN Security Council resolutions on women, peace, and security.

The aim of event - to present Georgia’s 2022-2024 National Action Plan for implementing the 4th UN Security Council resolution on women, peace, and security, to discuss the best strategies and methods for its effective implementation.

The Plan outlines the tasks and measures the Government will take to strengthen the protection of the rights of conflict-affected women, identify needs, and ensure increased representation and effective participation of women and youth in peace processes, peace-building activities, and decision-making platforms.
