Rostom Chkheidze, Nato Chkheidze and Nika Machutadze are leaving the United National Movement faction in the Parliament.
“MPs - Rostom Chkheidze, Nato Chkheidze and I, Nika Machutadze, who are elected to the Parliament from the party list of the movement “The State for the People”, announce that we are leaving the faction “UNM - the United Opposition “Strength Is in Unity””.
Here we confirm that we fully agree with today’s decision and although people have been talking about hiding, we of course deny it and state that we are not hiding anywhere.
Some TV channels were talking about a deal. This is a shameless lie. Rostom Chkheidze, Nato Chkheidze and Nika Machutadze didn’t have a deal with anyone.
We have not communicated with Georgian Dream. We did not have a meeting with Georgian Dream. We have not had a phone call with Georgian Dream. We have nothing to do with the clan which is very firmly seated in the Council of Justice. We categorically distance ourselves from the judicial clan that exists in the judicial system of the country”, - underlined Nika Machutadze.
