Georgia’s National Agency of State Property said today that it had fulfilled the privatizations plan by 100.2% this year.
The body said it had mobilized GEL 279 million as a result of “active” privatization.
In the fourth quarter alone, the amount of money transferred to the budget totaled GEL 98 million, which was 126.02% of the fourth quarter privatization plan.
The Agency had conducted about 3,000 auctions, with the total amount of expected investment from privatized state assets reaching GEL100 million. Such a result means that a significant part of state property has already entered economic turnover.
