A 17-year-old minor was arrested by the employees of the Special Investigation Service [SIS], for the facts of disclosure of secrets of personal life and coercion into an act of a sexual nature.

The investigation established that in the spring of 2023, the accused minor corresponded with the 16-year-old victim girl through the social network Messenger, during which the victim voluntarily sent a video recording of her dancing. Later, the accused asked the victim to take and send a video of intimate content, otherwise, he threatened to edit the video of her dance using the computer program Photoshop in such a way that the victim would be naked in the created photos, which he at later stage would share to her parents. As a result of the threat, on the same day, in the bathroom of her apartment, the affected minor recorded an intimate video which she sent to the accused through Messenger.

After sending the video of intimate content, the accused demanded that the victim perform sexual acts, then take it on a video and send it, and in case of refusal, he threatened to share the unlawfully obtained video of intimate content with her parents and relatives. As a result of threat and coercion, the frightened minor victim recorded a video of performing the sexual act and sent it to the accused.

After receiving the victim’s report, the SIS, protecting the best interests of the juvenile, promptly conducted the investigative activities. During the personal search, intimate content materials of the minor victim were found, and the accused was arrested.

The minor, exposed to the crime, was charged with disclosure of secrets of personal life and coercion into sexual intercourse or any other act of a sexual nature. The crime shall be punished by imprisonment for a term of up to seven years. The SIS continues the investigation of the mentioned fact.
