The bridge connecting Bagebi and University Street will facilitate the city’s further development, Georgian Prime Minister stated at today’s event marking the opening of a new bridge connecting Bagebi and University Street.
The Head of Government emphasized that the project’s design and implementation exhibit exquisite taste, for which he thanked Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze and City Hall’s staff.
“I congratulate you on the opening of Bagebi Vehicular Bridge, a truly remarkable project. A few years ago, this territory was absolutely undeveloped, a gray area in our city. But, after the implementation of a series of inaugural infrastructural projects, this territory in the city has transfigured altogether. The entire area around has developed, and that is very important for our city. This project too will facilitate the city’s further development, the reason why I want to congratulate Tbilisi’s residents on this day, everyone taking joy in the capital"s development. As usual, the project’s design and implementation exhibit exquisite taste too, for which I am especially grateful to the city’s Mayor Kakha Kaladze personally and the entire staff of City Hall. I also want to thank everyone engaged in the implementation of this extraordinary, difficult but exciting project”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
The new vehicular bridge connecting Bagebi and University Street was opened by the Prime Minister of Georgia together with Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze.
Built in line with international standards and consisting of four traffic lanes, the newbridge is already operating. The project"s value has made up 36,400,000 GEL.
