Georgian wine producing companies are participating in the International Wine and Spirits Expo 2024 exhibition in Seoul

With the support of the National Wine Agency and the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Korea, 10 Georgian wine producing companies are participating in the “Seoul International Wine and Spirits Expo 2024” - international wine and spirits exhibition in Seoul on July 4-6.

Within the framework of the exhibition, Georgian producers will engage in meetings with Korean wine importers and wine professionals. This interaction has played a significant role in the increase of Georgian wine sales in South Korea, as well as in the wider Asian market.

The Seoul International Wine & Spirits Expo is one of the largest and most significant wine and spirits events in the Asian region. It is worth mentioning that the inaugural presentation of Georgian wine in the Republic of Korea took place at this prestigious exhibition in 2015. In addition to this, supported by the National Wine Agency and organized by Chan Jun Park, Vice President of the Korean International Sommeliers Association and Founder of the Korean Wine Writers Club, a prestigious tasting event showcasing Georgian wine was successfully held, with over 150 esteemed guests in attendance.

The Republic of Korea, as one of the leading global importers of wine, along with China and Japan, is considered a key market for Georgian wine in the Asian region. Various marketing events are organized in this market with the assistance of the National Wine Agency.
