The process of selecting candidates for the membership of the Supreme Council of Justice is underway in the President’s Administration.

According to the decision of Salome Zourabichvili, the selection commission was created on June 21, which after reviewing the documents submitted by the candidates, will evaluate the qualifications, reputation, independence and integrity of the candidates, after which the commission will present the candidate or candidates to the president.

Five candidates expressed their desire to become members of the Supreme Council of Justice of Georgia.

The commission will hold a meeting with the selected candidates next week, which will be broadcast through the official social network of the President.
