The President of Georgia has cast her vote for the 2024 parliamentary elections. She voted at the polling station located in Public School No. 67.

“I want to congratulate all of Georgia on this day, which is a happy day. I voted not for whom, but for what. I voted for the new Georgia, for the sake of which I came to this country 22 years ago, for which my ancestors prayed.

I voted for that Georgia, which, I am sure, the whole of Georgia is praying for. In the evening we will all be winners. No one will be defeated, because Georgia will win”, - said Salome Zourabichvili.

Parliament elections are being held in Georgia today. This year, for the first time in the country, parliamentary elections are held in a fully proportional manner. Voters are served by 3,111 polling stations.
