The ongoing elections would determine whether the country would return to a “dark past” or maintain peace and dignity essential for its development. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

“First and foremost, it should be emphasised once again that the parliamentary elections are held today, which are of crucial importance for the future of our country. Today it will be determined whether our country will return to a dark past or maintain peace and dignity without which the development of the country is simply unimaginable and impossible. It should be noted that as of 3 PM, an unprecedentedly high turnout has been recorded, which leaves no chance for the radical opposition’s success.

I urge each voter who cares about our country’s fate, the preservation of traditional values, and Georgia’s peaceful, dignified, and bright European future to come out to vote and support the only political force - the Georgian Dream - which is committed to defending Georgia’s national interests at all costs and protecting the interests of every citizen of our country.

I remind everyone that any legal violation will be met with the full severity of the law. I once again urge every voter to be active. You have a unique opportunity today to directly contribute to the strengthening and advancement of our country.
