Voter turnout has reached 58.94% in parliamentary elections, the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia reported.

Of the country’s 3,508,294 million registered voters, 2,060,412 cast the ballot by the time polls closed at 20:00.

Voting took place across 3,111 precincts nationwide, including 12 in penitentiary facilities and one in a mental health centre.
