The Prime Minister of Georgia highlighted the importance of cooperation between Georgian and Hungary in all aspects and extended his gratitude to Hungary for supporting the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“It is important to further develop trade and economic relations with Hungary, develop economic cooperation in various sectors. Also, it is very important that we signed an agreement on cooperation in the investment sector, which will facilitate the implementation of mutual investments both in Hungary and in Georgia. Work will continue in this direction in the future.

Also, cooperation in the tourism sector is a special priority. Tourism contributes to the deepening and development of relations between peoples, and we are glad that we have very good trends here as well, and we will contribute to the further development of these relations in the future.

You know that we work together on projects, and it is worth noting the Black Sea submarine cable and internet cable projects, where our countries participate together with other partner states. Of course, great focus will be placed on the implementation of such projects in the future. During the meeting, we talked about all aspects of cooperation. We are satisfied with the current situation, the current circumstances, however, there is a great potential for deepening cooperation and in the future we will do everything to utilise this resource as much as possible”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
