The National Food Agency [NFA] is looking for persons who were in contact with a rabid dog in the vicinity of Chichinadze Street #6 in the African settlement.
“The NFA examined the pathological material taken in the state laboratory of agriculture, as a result of which rabies was confirmed.
The veterinary inspectors of the Tbilisi City Service of the NFA immediately carried out the measures stipulated by the legislation [vaccination of animals] and identified the animals that were in contact with the dog with rabies, which were transferred to the municipal shelter for the purpose of supervision by the Animal Monitoring Agency.
