Law enforcement officers have arrested an individual wanted under an Interpol Red Notice

Employees of the Adjara Main Division under the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have detained a foreign national wanted under an Interpol Red Notice.

The detainee was internationally wanted at the request of the law enforcement authorities of the Republic of Turkey for intentional murder committed in Turkey.

As a result of conducted investigative activities, law enforcement officers apprehended the wanted person in Batumi.

Currently, extradition procedures provided by law are underway against the detainee.
