Prime Minister of Georgia to deliver today a speech at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP29) in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Conference leaders are hosted by António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations and Ilham Aliyev, Presidentof Azerbaijan.

Irakli Kobakhidze is scheduled to deliver a speech at the COP29 Leaders’ Summit, as well as participate in panel discussions on various topics in a roundtable format.

The 29th UN Climate Change Conference will focus on assessing the impact of climate change on humanitarian and economic dimensions. Leaders will discuss practical steps to facilitate emission reductions, without which it would be impossible to avoid the severe impacts of global warming.
