The first session of the newly elected 11th convocation parliament has opened. Newly elected members were registered with temporary mandates issued by the Central Election Commission (CEC).

Key items on the agenda include certifying the mandates of all 150 members and electing the Parliament Speaker, vice-speakers, and committee chairs.

A total of five parties have entered the legislative body - Georgian Dream is in the building, while others are outside the building and do not recognize the election results.

Despite the protests, the ruling party is pursuing its own agenda - after recognizing the authority, Georgian Dream will present the Government composition.
