The Acting Governor of the National Bank of Georgia [NBG] is participating in the Lámfalussy Lectures Conference in Budapest [annual event hosted by the National Bank of Hungary to mark the 100th anniversary of its founding].
The 10th edition of the event focuses on the theme Age of Geoeconomics: Evolution of Central Banking, with panel discussions addressing monetary policy issues.
Natia Turnava held meetings with the heads of the national banks of Central and Eastern European countries, as well as the National Bank of Hungary: “We had quite productive and businesslike discussions. We talked about geopolitical challenges, exchanged views on inflation management, reviewed the macroeconomic situation in various countries and the role of central banks in normalising inflation”.
