The Prime Minister of Georgia highlighted the Government’s commitment to responding to heavy snowfall affecting several regions of the country.

Irakli Kobakhidze called for a “full mobilization” of all relevant agencies to address effects of adverse weather and ensure safety of the population.

“There is heavy snowfall in several regions, and it is necessary to fully mobilize all agencies to combat the consequences of the disaster and take care of protecting the interests of the population as much as possible. All necessary measures would be taken in the coming days to safeguard the public”, - said the Prime Minister.
