According to the Roads Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure, due to urgent asphalt pavement restoration works in the Gori highway tunnel located at the 88th km of the Tbilisi–Senaki–Leselidze international highway, movement of all types of motor vehicles will be prohibited in the Senaki-Tbilisi direction of the tunnel on August 11, 2026, from 11:00 to 13:00.

During the closure period of the Senaki-Tbilisi direction of the highway tunnel, traffic will be diverted via the detour road of the Gori tunnels of domestic importance.
