At a session of the temporary investigative commission of the Parliament, where the issue under discussion is the situation in the occupied territories of Georgia in 2004-2008 and the August 2008 war, Mamuka Kurashvili, Chief of Staff of Peacekeeping Operations in 2008, answers questions from the commission members.

In response to Ilia Injia’s question, “If you had evacuated people earlier, would more people have been injured or fewer”, Kurashvili stated that “there would have been fewer victims”.
