Reports suggesting a protester was injured during detention are false, reads the information, released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs [MIA].

According to the agency, a man sustained a serious injury after being bitten by a stray dog on Rustaveli Avenue.

"The information circulating regarding any injuries to a protester during the detention is untrue and does not reflect the facts. A man was bitten on the leg by a stray dog in the vicinity of Rustaveli Avenue, leading to heavy bleeding.

Emergency medical services quickly transported him to a hospital, where his condition is reported to be stable", - reads the statement of MIA.
