Starting today, April, 15, Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air is resuming its direct regular flights from Kutaisi International Airport [KIA] to Hamburg.

According to the United Airports of Georgia, the negotiations with the airline have successfully concluded, paving the way for the reinstatement of this key route.

Currently, KIA offers direct regular flights to five German cities. In total, four airlines operate direct regular flights from Georgia to eight destinations across Germany.

From April 29, Wizz Air will resume flights from Kutaisi to Madrid. Starting June 3, a brand-new route to Lyon will be launched.
