Tbilisi City Court has imposed a GEL 30,000 bail on Nika Gvaramia, one of the leaders of the Coalition for Change, for failing to appear before the parliamentary investigative commission.

The decision was made by Judge Eka Barbakadze, who fully satisfied the prosecution’s motion.

It remains unclear whether Gvaramia will pay the bail. As he said after the hearing, he would “decide in consultation with his party”.
