Preparations for the event planned for May 26 have already begun. Georgian Defense Forces military personnel held their first rehearsal at Freedom Square.

National Military Service recruits who are preparing to take the military oath also underwent a rehearsal. In addition to Freedom Square, recruits will take the oath at 5 other historical sites on May 26.

On Georgia’s Independence Day, an exhibition of military equipment, weapons and equipment will traditionally be held in 21 cities and municipalities of Georgia.
