Zurab Girchi Japaridze is not attending his own trial

The trial of Zurab Girchi Japaridze is underway at the Tbilisi City Court. The defendant himself is not attending his trial.

Today, the prosecution and defense will make their closing arguments, after which the judge will issue a decision.

Japaridze is accused of failing to comply with the request of the temporary investigative commission. He was set a bail of GEL 20,000, which Japaridze did not pay.
