Judge to announce verdict in Zurab Girchi Japaridze case on June 23

The judge will announce the verdict in the case of Zurab Girchi Japaridze on June 23.

The trial was held today. The prosecution and defense sides delivered their closing arguments, after which the judge left to make a decision and the session was adjourned.

The defendant himself did not attend the trial.

Japaridze is accused of failing to comply with the request of the temporary investigative commission. He was set a bail of 20,000 GEL, which Japaridze didn’t pay. He was arrested in the courtroom.
