"Starting August 1, the zonal-hourly parking system will be implemented, specifically in the Mtatsminda District, the Vazisubani and Bagebi Settlements, in the part of Didi Digomi, and along Beri Gabriel Salosi Avenue. Registration for local residents to access free parking under this system began on July 1.
There is still an opportunity to visit the information booths, where our staff will assist and support you in registering your vehicle, enabling you to park near your residence free of charge in the future. A total of 1,340 zonal-hourly parking spaces have been allocated in the specified areas, including 14 spaces reserved for persons with disabilities and 2 spaces equipped for electric vehicle charging. Please be reminded that parking is free for local residents.
To qualify, they must register their vehicles in the system, after which they will be allowed to park up to two vehicles free of charge within a 100-meter radius of their home. In all other cases, the parking fee will be 1 GEL per hour", - said Kakha Kaladze.
