Georgia national basketball team defeats France, reaches EuroBasket quarterfinals for first time

The Georgian national basketball team made history at EuroBasket by defeating one of the tournament favourites, France, 80:70 in the round of 16, securing its first-ever spot in the quarterfinals of the continental championship.

With the historic win, Georgia advances to the EuroBasket quarterfinals for the first time, where it will face Finland.

The match is scheduled for September 10 at 22:00 Tbilisi time.
