This is a politically motivated attempt to silence our voice because we tirelessly criticize the EU bureaucratic machine - the EU Transparency Register has suspended the registration of MCC Brussels, a leading educational institution

“EU BUREAUCRACY TARGETING MCC BRUSSELS

They won’t succeed - yet another politically motivated attempt to silence MCC Brussels

The EU Transparency Register Secretariat has suspended MCC Brussels.

Not for hidden lobbying.
Not for undisclosed meetings.
Not for financial irregularities.
Not for improper conduct.

But for our relentless criticism of the EU machine.

Following a complaint submitted by Corporate Europe Observatory, a globalist activist organisation, The EU’s Transparency Register has suspended our registration - weaponising a little-known bureaucratic rule - and applied it selectively against MCC Brussels.

This means that the privileges granted to all the EU-funded progressive NGOs - such as accessing the official meetings in the European Parliament - are denied to us.

What’s worse is that the Transparency Register has targeted MCC Brussels while leaving progressive organisations untouched. Many progressive NGOs, including the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) operate multiple registrations, ignoring the “Single Representation Principle”, yet the Register has suspended MCC Brussels for non-compliance with the “Single Registration Principle” despite having only one registration!

Comparable organisations with multiple registrations continue to enjoy access to EU institutions. Despite the fact that MCC Brussels no lobbying meetings with EU institutions - unlike the EU funded NGOs who are invited to make official EU policy - we are the ones who have been found in breach.

This is the same Transparency Register that was silent when we exposed the scandal of EU-funded NGOs receiving millions of EU money to lobby the EU (for more pro-EU policies!). This is clearly not about “transparency” but about shutting out a forthright conservative voice.

Administrative rules cannot mean one thing for establishment NGOs and another thing for conservative institutions.

MCC Brussels will appeal this decision, but we will not retreat!” – writes MCC Brussels.
