An injured minor was airlifted from Kvemo Omalo to Tbilisi by rescue teams

Employees of the Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs transported an injured minor from the village of Kvemo Omalo in Akhmeta municipality to Tbilisi by helicopter.

A notification was received by the Public Safety Management Center “112” that a 9-year-old child in the village of Kvemo Omalo required urgent medical assistance.

In order to receive appropriate medical care, a rescue operation was planned immediately upon receiving the notification, in which a Border Police helicopter was involved along with the rescue team of the Emergency Management Service”.
