Nika Gvaramia comments on the politicians" announcements that a judge of the first panel is his relative. According to Mr. Gvaramia such announcements are unqualified  and has no connection with law and reality.

Nika Gvaramia  has said that Judge Maia Kopaleishvili is his son"s godmother, however it is not a ground for recusal.

" It is funny to hear from the government which has  hired a judge who says that mother is not a family member that a godmother isa  relative. I am not a side in this process, Even Rustavi 2 is not a side. The side is TV company Sakartvelo and I have noting to do with that,"- Nika Gvaramia said.

" I appeal to Eka Beselia. Despite her low legal qualification, which is well known, she should know that the recusal applies on sides involved in the process and not individuals,  linked to the process,"- Nika Gvaramia said.

Nika Gvaramia has commented on other judges of the Constitutional Court. According to him Judge Zaza Tavadze was his Deputy, he  had good relations with  Tamaz Tsabutashvili, was working with  Otar Sichinava , he used to sit side by side with Lali Phaphiashvili at the parliament and is Ketevan Eremadze"s course-mate.

According to him, he knows Giorgi Papuashvili from politics and is negatively related with Merab Turava, However the issue of recusal of these judges has not ever raised.
