The Roads department of the the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure releases a statement. Reportedly there is an avalanche hazard on the Mtskheta-Stephantsminda- Larsi road, which is why all vehicles are prohibited on the Gudauri -Kobi section.

Due to heavy snow, km36 60-km (Nakerala Pass) of Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road is also closed for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats. , "- said in a statement.
