Violence Against Women conference is held by non-governmental sector. It will be also attended by members of the executive and legislative branches of the government.

The conference will discuss the legislative gaps that inhibit the protection of the rights of victims of domestic violence.

According to NGOs, the response of the police and prevention measures should be more effective when the facts of domestic violence are detected for the first time.
