The incident occurred in Khaishi section of Jvari-Mestia road. The deceased is a local. He was travelling in a minibus. This stretch of road was closed due to landslides, a man got out of the road to see the road when the avalanche came down and he was trapped.

The body has already been taken to Khaishi.
Roads Department prohibits the movement on Zugdidi-Mestia-Jvari -Lasdili road due to intense snow and avalanche threat.
