" All questions should be answered, a joint investigation is needed," - said the Patriarch Ilia II at the meeting, attended by the President and members of synod.
The Patriarch has discussed the latest developments and state of his health.
" History of the Church does not remember such cases. This is not only church"s problem, but this is a problem of state as well, that"s why our government wants to be actively engaged in the process and I think, you understand the importance of it. We already have questions from foreign countries what is happening in Georgia and we do not have a certain position or investigation, Therefore we need to help each other, the Church and the State need to conduct a joint investigation,"- said Ilia II.
