Soso Osurauli`s family confirmed that the fact that he was taken into captivity in Congo.They are also aware that the rebels demand ransom. The family could not speak about other details.

According to them, Soso Osurauli left Georgia two years ago and periodically contacted the family.

"We have received information from the family about two weeks ago. Now we know that Soso is in captivity. The family and, as we know, the government are involved in the process, that is all the information we have at this time, "- said the representative of district municipality of the village of Alvani George Gogitidze.
