Chairman of the Bar Association, Zaza Khatiashvili believes that there are more than enough arguments for the European Court of Human Right to declare the Rustavi 2 lawsuit admissible and to maintain the interim measure regarding the suspension of the execution of the Supreme Court decision.

" The European court , in my opinion, taking into account the current situation, should continue the temporary suspension of the execution of the Supreme Court decision, because, I think, it would pose a great threat to the freedom of speech and freedom of expression. As you know, I attended all the trials. This was the dirtiest action of the Government aimed to change the independent editorial policy of the independent channel. I think that if the government has some sence, it should be interested in having the case in the European Court in order to save the image of the country and avoid the trouble, which the change of the editorial policy of Rustavi 2 will inevitably bring, "- said Zaza Khatiashvili.

He also responded to the statement made by the Minister of Justice, Tea Tsulukiani.

"Tea Tsulukiani`s press conference in the State Chancellery - sending only that material is enough to prove that the goverment, its Minister of Justice, its Prime Minister and its informal feudal ruler are fighting against "Rustavi 2," - said Zaza Khatiashvili.
