Executive Director of the Journalists` Charter of Ethics, Nata Dzvelishvili views the fac that Rustavi-2 staff has received 51 percent shares of Rustavi2 as a factor bolstering the confidence in the broadcasting company.

"From the outside as an ordinary viewer, I can say that it seems that Rustavi-2 team has the desire to be distanced from the political affiliation and disperse all doubts which existed before," - said Nata Dzvelishvili.

Nata Dzvelishvili noted that the deal should not be fictitious.

"This will be an unprecedented event in the Georgian media environment which will show that the team itself is a television. Television is the people and not the owners, and it will be a signal to other media outlets to believe in their own forces and consider that they can run TV channels, "- said Nata Dzvelishvili.

She also noted that in the case of such a transaction, advertising companies will have more interest.
