The Interior Ministry has been investigating a nightclub incident which hapenned on March 31, in downtown Tbilisi,.during whichclub administration demanded extra money from the Indian tourists and then threatened them.

Foreign visitors came to the old part of Tbilisi with a guide .

The nearby shops have information about tourists that come out of the club complaining . According to them, the guests are cheating in currency exchange booths as well.

Guides say that such cases are more common in Tbilisi as well as in other cities, but tourists avoid the complications and do not apply the police . Guides claims that the image of the country is often infringed by the night clubs of suspicious reputation.

The National Tourism Agency has got interested in the situation and will hold a closed meeting with visitors till the end of the day.
