The issue of ban on smoking in public spaces will be discussed at the plenary session of the legislators at the first reading today.

The law will be amended. According to amendments , the owner of the faculty, which violate the law will be fined from 500 to 5 thousand GEL.

The legislators also discuss an advertising ban, including billboards.

" I would like to remind you that nearly billion dollars are spent on treatment of diseases, caused by tobacco from the budget. Therefore I support this bill and call on everyone do to the same,"- says Nino Tsilosani, Secretary of Parliamentary faction Georgian Dream.
Leaders of Georgian Dream sat that changes are necessary, however none of the parties should be victimized.
