Judges of the Supreme court have commented on a decision taken by tyhe Supreme Court about the case of Rustavi 2. According to judges, the decision was not motivated politically.

"The decision is lawful and justified, the Strasbourg court has a right to suspend the execution, but it was precedential , because it has not ever used such judgment on such kind of issue. However in this case Strasbourg had not our reasoned decision, so they had no opportunity to learn the reasoned part of the verdict,"- said Maia Vachadze, a Judge of the Supreme court.

According to the members of the Grand Chamber, they had the access to the case materials since December 1.

" Everyone had documentation on their tables since December 1. No one had communication on this topic , "- said the judge Maia Vachadze.

Judge Besation Alavidze states that he has not confirmed an information about pressure and the investigation is underway on the basis of his announcement. According to him, the decision on the case of Rustavi2 is legal.
