Amendments to Traffic Safety Law to be voted for in second reading

Today MPs will vote for the amendments to the Road Traffic Safety Law in the second reading.
The innovation is introduction of contactless patrolling and 100-point driving license system, as well as the strengthening of sanctions for drunken drivers .

Different types of violations have been determined in case of which different number of points will be subtracted. In case all points are subtracted, drivers will have to pass the re-examination.

The changes will take effect, if approved, from June 1.
